Winter journey
Children’s paradise
In the medium mountains, children enjoy fully all the joys
of winter. After going up on the train, sledging or an introduction
to skiing complete a very full day. |
|
The originality of the access remains important for
ski lovers. The summit of Le Prarion overlooks two neighbouring valleys,
offering north-facing slopes towards Chamonix and pistes on the south
side of Saint-Gervais. The summit is at 1967 m.
As far as Les Houches, the difference in level of 860 m makes for
easy skiing, ideal for families and beginners.

| Cross-country skiing |
Cross-country skiingCross-country skiers will also
find a suitable area on the Le Prarion and Bellevue plateau : blue
and red loops, another way to appreciate the exceptional panorama
of the place.
(Lac Bleu, 2.2 km and La Charme, 4.5 km) |

| Walking or snow-shoeing |
| Walking or snow-shoeingIn winter, the whole area is
suitable for diverse, easy walks, mainly between the Bellevue plateau
and the Col de Voza (30 mins.) or towards the chalets at l'Are (30
mins.). At the very gateways to the high mountains, the gentle relief
of the plateau permits walks whose main attractions are contemplating
the massif and discovering the environment. |
