  THE TRAMWAY IN WINTER
In winter : the snow is there for everyone’s enjoyment
The originality of this access to the snow remains important for ski lovers. The summit of Le Prarion overlooks two neighbouring valleys, offering north-facing slopes towards Chamonix and pistes on the south side of Saint-Gervais. The summit is at 1967m.
Down to Les Houches, the difference in height of 860m makes for easy skiing, ideal for families and beginners.

Children’s paradise

In the mid-level mountains, children fully enjoy all the joys of winter. After going up on the train, sledging or an introduction to skiing will make-up a very full day.

Walking or snow-shoeing

In winter, the whole area is suitable for diverse, easy walks, mainly between the Bellevue plateau and the Col de Voza (30 mins.) or towards the Tête de Balme (45 mins.). At the very gateway to the high mountains, the gentle relief of the plateau permits walks whose main attractions are contemplating the 'massif' and discovering the environment.
